What are Zones?

Zones are designed to split up a territory. They can help you and the telemarketers better manage your schedule. For example, Pinellas County could be split up into 3 zones. North Pinellas, Central Pinellas, and South Pinellas. You can then specify a ‘note’ to be attached to each zone. North Pinellas – Mondays. Central Pinellas – Tuesdays and Fridays. South Pinellas – Wednesday Afternoon and Thursdays. This information is then displayed to the Telemarketer when they are making a call. Zones are specified by Zip Codes. In order to create a new zone and add new zip codes to it, Click on Zip Codes under the Sales Menu in the web app. Then select your Territory and click Search.

This will return a list of Zip Codes within your Territory.

Initially, Zone will be blank. Let's create some zones. Click on the Zones button at the bottom of the Grid. Enter in the information and click Submit, or click the floppy disk to add more.

Once you have entered all your Zones, exit that window. Now you can go through your zip codes and set up a zone for each.

Don't forget to click Submit when you are done to save the changes! This will then show up when a Telemarketer makes an appointment.
